Amy Shouse is currently training at the Acupuncture and Integrative Medicine College in Berkeley, Ca. Amy has spent hundreds of hours in the local AIMC clinic treating dozens of patients as well as West Berkeley Family Practice helping patients lose weight, quit smoking, and curb addictive cravings.
Amy practices primary care and can treat a myriad of dysfunctions which include insomnia, adrenal insufficiency, painful or irregular menstruation, stress, anxiety and PTSD.
Amy specializes in the autoimmune spectrum of diseases. Diseases that fall on the forefront of this spectrum include diabetes, thyroid disease including hyper- and hypothyroid states, as well as multiple sclerosis, chron’s disease and ulcerative colitis.
Amy believes that a good practitioner forms strong relationships with patients and other medical providers in the community. Amy's primary concern is to provide the support her patients need to stay healthy and happy thriving members of the community. In order to foster a holistic commitment to each patient's health, Amy welcomes integrative health relationships with other MD’s, Chiropractors, Homeopaths and Naturopathic Physicians as well as other Acupuncturists.
